Undermined by Windows Phone, Android will Weakens

The sales of Android devices predicted to reach its peak in 2012. Then stuck and fall encroached by Windows Phone from Microsoft.

This predictions said by leading research firm, IDC. According to them, this year Android smartphone market share will reach 61% peak point, then stop growing and declining.

2016, Android is predicted still lead, but its market share fall to 52.9%. Well, Windows Phone at that time predicted in runner-up position with a 19.2% achievement. Its overtook or equal to Apple’s iOS that expected reach 19% market share.

Indeed today, Windows Phone market share only 5.2%. However, according to IDC, is still fairly strong Nokia position as a major supporter of Windows Phone and arrival of Windows Phone 8 will strengthen its position.

And how about BlackBerry? Reported, BlackBerry market share is estimated to be only 5.6% in 2016.

Still according to IDC, the global cellphone market will grow 4% this year. Feature phone will still be dominant with 61.6% market share. The rest is smartphone.
