BlackBerry Playbook 16GB Discontinued, 32GB and 64GB Still Available

Research In Motion (RIM) decided to no longer produce BlackBerry Playbook 16GB version. The maker of BlackBerry smartphone is mentioned will only sell the remaining 16GB Playbook.

While for 32GB and 64GB versions, will still be available and RIM will continue to produce it. What is the reason for RIM to stop Playbook 16 GB production?

RIM claims the reason is their company is to give more value to consumers. According to this Canadian company, users can get more value with a larger capacity of BlackBerry Playbook.

Previously it was rumored that the BlackBerry Playbook will be discontinued, but RIM immediately clarify. RIM is committed to continue to develop their tablet.

RIM is also reportedly preparing the successor of BlackBerry Playbook. In addition to the more advanced specification, these products are also claimed have richer connectivity than before.
