Are you familiar with the new iPad case in Australia? It seems that the case will not continued too long because Apple reportedly willing to pay $2.25 million to ACCC as a penalty for misleading “Wi-Fi + 4G” term on New iPad. It started from 4G network on new iPad that wasn’t compatible with the 4G network in Australia.

Before agreeing to pay fine, Apple also offered a refund for users who buy new iPad that supports LTE 4G network. In addition to paying the fines, Apple also reported will be change that model name to “iPad WiFi + Cellular” in some areas. According to reports Apple is also reported must pay court costs that reached $300,000.
